O‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍verview: Many employers are universities are requiring applicants to provide a diversity, equity, and inclusion statement. DEI statements provide an opportunity for you to reflect on how you create a welcome and engaging class or supervisory style. As suggested by the readings this week, your DEI statement should be a framework for how your teaching and supervision will integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion. As you think about your DEI statement and how to craft it, consider the following: What is your theory of teaching or supervision, and how does it align with DEI? If someone were to ask you about what you would do about the lack of diversity, equity, and inclusion, how might you answer this question? How would you set the expectation in your classroom or supervision setting that diversity and inclusion are important tenets of your teaching? How do you see your DEI statement aligning with CSWE concepts of diversity and inclusion in higher education? INSTRUCTIONS: The six main bullet points that follow correspond to the grading criteria for this assignment: Describe the core concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion and how you see them integrating with your teaching or supervision. Explain how the NASW Code of Ethics informs your DEI statement. Identify issues of unequal access, unequal abilities, and diversity of learning styles and how you will address these in your teaching or supervision. Explain what resources you might use to continue learning and growing in your understanding of DEI and the role it plays in your teaching or supervision. Write content‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ clearly and logically, following the rules of grammar, usage, and mechanics. “Grammar” refers to the basic rules for how sentences are constructed and how words combine to make sentences (such as word order, case, and tense). “Usage” refers to correct word choice and phrasing, particularly with regard to the meanings of words and phrases. “Mechanics” refers to correct use of capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. Ensure that all material that reflects the thoughts, ideas, and words of other authors is properly cited and referenced using APA style. Submit your paper to SafeAssign as a draft. Use your originality report to review your work and to ensure that all material from outside sources is properly cited and referenced. Remember that when you submit your final assignment for your instructor to grade, it will automatically be submitted to SafeAssign one more time. Both you and your instructor will be able to see the final originality report. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: 3–4 content pages, plus cover page and references. No abstract required. Arial 12-point font. 8–12 peer-reviewed journal articles in references. While many doctoral assignments are expected to be written in the third person (without any reference to yourself), in this assignment you are asked to write about yourself, so use of first person is appropriate. RESOURCES: Developing a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement Scoring Guide. NASW. Evidence and APA. SafeAssign. PLEASE COMPLETE AS STATED AND USE AND CITE ADDITIONAL RESOURCES AS INSTRUCTED IN THE ASSIGNME‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍NT. THANK YOU!

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How soon can I get my paper done?

It depends with your deadline. If you need your paper completed in 3 hours, we will deliver it in that time. All you need to do is indicate your deadline in our custom order page here. Alternatively, if you are sending us your instructions via email, please be sure to indicate your deadline.

Will it be completely original? I don't want to be caught in a case of Academic Integrity Violation.

We are as paranoid as you are. Maybe even more! And we understand that the greatest sin you can commit in your academic journey is plagiarizing your academic work. To that end, we have made sure that we check and double-check our papers using high quality plagiarism detection tools such as SafeAssign and Turnitin before submitting the paper to you.

Who is my writer? Is he/she a native English Speaker?

All our writers are native English Speakers. That is not to say that ESL writers are not good, we just prefer hiring native writers because we want the very best people working on your paper. This might mean paying a little bit more for your paper as opposed to when you pay a foreign company whose writers are non-native English Speakers.

What if I need revisions? Will your charge additional for this?

Of course not! If you do happen to require a revision on your paper, our team will handle it for you free of charge. Matter of fact, we won’t rest till you are happy with your paper. So, ask for as many revisions as you need, it’s completely FREE!

Will you give me my money back if I don't like my paper?

We have very few instances where we delivered a paper that a client didn’t fall in love with. But if it so happens that you don’t like your paper for any reason whatsoever, we’ll refund your money back no questions asked.

I have more assignments after this, can you help me with those too?

Of course! And what’s even better is that we can reserve a writer permanently to work on your entire class. This comes in handy for projects which build up on each other and where you need just one writer, one writing style.

I got my order information wrong, can I change that?

Yes you can. Just reach out to our support team via email (support@essaynook.com) or live chat here and they’ll help you change the instructions.

Can I place an order via email instead of going through the order page?

Yes you can. Email Anna at anna@essaynook.com, she’s in charge of our sales team. Alternatively, you can talk to our Live Chat team here and request to speak to Anna.
